Ncell currently offers daily, weekly, monthly and long-validity internet packages, including regular data packs and unlimited/FUP-based Super Value packs. Most packs can be purchased through the Ncell App, Ncell's official website, or *17123#. Prices range from Rs. 35 for a 1-day 1.25GB pack up to Rs. 8,499 for a 365-day unlimited Super Value pack.

Ncell's own table doesn't calculate this, but it's often the most useful number for comparing packs of different sizes. For fixed-volume packs, price divided by GB gives an approximate cost per GB.

We've deliberately left the four Rs. 799-and-up Super Value packs out of this specific table. They're labelled "Unlimited" with a 200GB FUP threshold, and calculating a per-GB rate on a pack most people won't fully use would be misleading. If you genuinely burn through 150-200GB a month, the Rs. 799 pack becomes exceptional value; if you don't, a smaller pack is the honest choice.

Which 1-Day Ncell Pack Is Best?

For light messaging and social media browsing, the Rs. 35 pack is usually enough. If you'll be watching video, using navigation apps, or need a mobile hotspot for the day, the Rs. 50 pack is the safer choice since it keeps you connected at reduced speed even if you go over 5GB. We won't claim an exact number of hours of video this gets you, video quality settings change data use dramatically, so treat 5GB as roughly a few hours of standard-definition streaming or considerably less at high definition.

Ncell's lineup only has one dedicated 3-day pack, but it fills a real gap between the 1-day and weekly options. It suits weekend travel, a short visit to family, or bridging a temporary home Wi-Fi outage without committing to a full week or month of data you won't fully use.

The Rs. 200 pack is our pick for most weekly users. It costs Rs. 50 more than the fixed Rs. 150 pack but nearly triples the high-speed quota and keeps you connected at reduced speed afterward instead of cutting off completely. If you also make a lot of calls that week, the Rs. 249 combo pack adds unlimited calling for just Rs. 49 more, which is difficult to beat if you'd otherwise pay per-minute rates.

Ncell Monthly Data Packs

Ncell's monthly-length packs use 30-day validity consistently across this lineup, we did not find any pack officially listed with 28-day validity at the time of this check. If you've seen "28-day" mentioned elsewhere, confirm it against Ncell's current page before assuming it still applies, since Ncell has used 28-day cycles on other products in the past.

The Rs. 399 pack works differently from the others, it gives 1GB fresh each day for 30 days rather than one lump sum. That's genuinely useful if you tend to overspend data early in a cycle and then run dry, since it forces a daily budget. But unused daily data typically does not roll over, so it can work out worse than the Rs. 499 pack for someone with uneven day-to-day usage. Compare your own habits rather than assuming the daily-refresh structure is automatically better or worse.

What Does "Unlimited" Data Mean on Ncell?

FUP stands for Fair Usage Policy. Ncell's four main Super Value packs (Rs. 449 to Rs. 799, plus the longer-validity Rs. 2,299/4,499/8,499 versions of the Rs. 799 pack) all publish an exact reduced speed: 256 Kbps after the relevant high-speed quota is exhausted. That's the clearest FUP disclosure Ncell provides on its official page.

For smaller combo packs labelled "Unlimited Data" (the Rs. 50, 99, 200 and 249 packs), Ncell's public summary table does not publish a specific reduced speed the way it does for Super Value packs. We won't invent a number Ncell hasn't confirmed, if the exact post-FUP speed matters to you for one of these smaller packs, check the pack's confirmation SMS or ask Ncell directly before relying on it for anything time-sensitive.

Super Value packs bundle unlimited all-Nepal calls, daily SMS, high-speed FUP data and longer validity options into a single product, separate from the ordinary data-only packs above.

The three longer-validity packs (90, 180 and 365 days) carry the same daily benefits as the Rs. 799 pack, you're paying for extra months upfront rather than getting a different quota. On a cost-per-day basis they land close together (roughly Rs. 23-27/day across all four), so choose based on how far in advance you're comfortable prepaying, not because the longer packs are secretly cheaper day to day.

Ncell Data Saapati

Data Saapati is Ncell's emergency data loan for prepaid customers whose balance has run low, separate from ordinary prepaid data packs.

Dial *9988# to access Saapati. It's available to prepaid customers whose SIM has been active for more than 30 days. The borrowed amount plus the service fee is automatically deducted from your very next recharge, if that recharge is smaller than what you owe, the full recharge is taken and the remainder is deducted from the recharge after that. You cannot take a new Saapati while a previous one is still outstanding.

How to Activate an Ncell Data Pack

Ncell's official pack page links directly to its App and website for every pack, that's the emphasis Ncell itself puts on how customers should buy. USSD remains available as an alternative.

Method 1: Ncell App

Open the Ncell App, go to My Account, choose the pack you want and confirm payment. This works even when your active data pack has run dry, since Ncell zero-rates traffic to its own app, and it avoids USSD network congestion issues common in busy areas.

Method 2: Ncell Website

Every pack on Ncell's official Packs and Plans page has a direct "Via Website" purchase link. This is the same source we used to verify every price in this guide.

Method 3: USSD

Dial *17123# and follow the on-screen menu to browse and activate data packs and combo offers. This code is widely used and confirmed by independent Nepal telecom sources, though Ncell's own packs page does not list it directly. Menu sequences can change over time, so if a specific nested step doesn't match what you see, fall back to the App or website.

Ncell packs can also be purchased and recharged through eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay and other Nepali digital wallets, and through scratch-card recharge using *122*PIN#.

How to Check Remaining Ncell Data

• SMS (most reliable): Send the letter S to 17123. You'll get an immediate reply with your remaining data and exact expiry.
• Ncell App: Open the app and check My Account for real-time remaining data, expiry and usage history. This method uses zero data since Ncell zero-rates its own app.

How Do I Know When My Ncell Data Pack Expires?

Ncell states that its Super Value packs expire at midnight (00:00) on the last valid day, not necessarily exactly the validity period times 24 hours from your purchase time. For example, a 30-day pack activated late in the evening on day 1 still ends at midnight at the end of day 30, not 30 full 24-hour cycles later. We haven't seen this rule restated for every ordinary data pack individually, so check your confirmation SMS or the Ncell App if the exact expiry moment matters for a specific pack, especially for short 1-day and 3-day packs.

Do Ncell Data Packs Renew Automatically?

Ncell explicitly describes its Super Value packs as one-time packs, they do not auto-renew, and you need to manually purchase again once the pack expires. 3. Check the pack's expiry, it may have already ended.
4. Make sure mobile data is switched on in your phone's settings.
5. On a dual-SIM phone, confirm mobile data is set to use your Ncell SIM specifically.
6. Restart mobile data or restart your phone.
7. Check your network coverage and signal strength in your current location.

Will Ncell Use My Main Balance for Internet?
